In 2020 the Ultimate Game League will be producing online ultimate gaming tournaments and broadcasting them on the Ultimate Game League eSports Channel. Using Video Conferencing software we can create multiple videos in one video so the players can see each other and the gameplay. We don’t have to be in one place anymore. We can do a gaming tournament while you are sitting in the comfort of your own home or gaming studio. It’s easy to play and here is everything you need to play!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PLAY….
- ZOOM Video Conferencing App
Download the App to your smart phone or tablet. You will need this to broadcast video of yourself for the live stream in our multiple screen format. You will need to make yourself a FREE account. You don’t have to pay for the services to use it. Then all you need to do is login to the App and select “Join a Meeting.” You will need our ID to login. The Broadcasting Zoom account is with That Nerd Show – the sponsor of the Ultimate Game League. The ID to login to the zoom video meeting is 525-774-0112. It also requires a Password to join, which is 968274.
- Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, or all Three
You must have one of these consoles or both that can not only stream to Twitch or YouTube, but has the capability to allow gamers to play each other online and connect to a party where they can talk online. Ultimate Gaming Tournaments are done through console gameplay.
- Games – Sports, Fighting, Racing, Shooters
You must have the games that we choose for the tournament. We use all kinds of games, from Sports games, Fighting games, Racing Games, and First Person Shooters. While we don’t usually announce the games until right before the tournament, but when it comes to the online tournaments, we will post the games that will be in the tournament days before it starts so you will have time to get a copy of a game you don’t have and practice. However, the games will be chosen at random each round by a blind draw or a roll of the dice. For most sports games, you can subscribe to EA Access and download them. Xbox Game Pass also has a lot of fighting games and sports games too.
- Twitch App
You are required to download the Twitch App for your Console. One gamer must live stream the gameplay to the Ultimate Game League Twitch Channel for the Studio. You may be asked to do live stream the gameplay.
- Event Registration
We will have an event registration form on the Ultimate Game League website or through our email. For gaming tournaments, you will be required to provide your name and what consoles you play on. You will also need to provide your contact info and more importantly, your gamer ID so that whoever you match up with can connect with you.
