THE RULES

****You do not get to pick your opponents when starting out in the tournament. There will be a drawing to determine the bracket. Or a random selection from a sign-up sheet from someone who is not playing in the tournament.  Or your points from the league regular season plus state and national competitions will determine your place in the bracket.

****You must play each game no matter whether you have played it before, but you are allowed to look up the controls or cheat codes that might give you an advantage. Sometimes being able to do the best research is what allows you to win. You are only allowed to do research in between rounds and you will only be able to use your own device, whether it’s a computer, tablet or phone I can get on the Internet, or contact a friend.

****The games in the tournament will be revealed 10 minutes before the first match in the tournament.

****Psych outs are allowed, but you cannot scream or use high-volume devices that might cause physical damage to the ears.

****There is no physical contact. You cannot touch an opponent or obstructed their view from playing the game in any way. Also, you cannot use someone else for physical contact with your opponent or obstructed their view.

****No nudity is allowed unless it’s between consenting adults in a relationship or marriage, and in the privacy of their own home. This also includes burlesque attire. Verbal consent will have to be recorded if it involves people that are not in a relationship or something like a swinger’s party.

****If psych outs are not to be used, then it will have to be agreed upon before the tournament.
